配乐、服装、布景都真心不错。设置遭遇创伤后的双女主角色，让二者形成了很鲜明的对比。阿黛拉改名换姓、重获新生，开舞蹈班、办演出、并开始新的恋情；而海伦却沉溺在过去的伤痛和自己的妄想中无法自拔，除了用宗教来给自己洗脑，就是在生活中疑神疑鬼，甚至一步步走向罪恶的深渊。最后海伦在黑暗中对着阿黛拉的尸体弹琴时，简直丑陋而震撼。试想若是现在拍，这个角色一定是凯西贝茨才能hold住。
